ReadyTalk Review
Detailed Reviews
ReadyTalk has been around for well over 10 years. The company was
founded in 2001 under the guidance of Dan King, a veteran in the
telecommunications industry. ReadyTalk has quite a sizeable time and is
constantly looking to improve its services.
Products
ReadyTalk is primarily divided into Meeting and Webinar packages. For the Meeting package, you can start from 25 participants and move your way up at a modest starting price of $49. The Webinar package comes with a minimum 150 person commitment which makes sense as webinars generally attract a larger crowd. The Webinar product lets you seamlessly record the entire session which you can then re-publish or even sell as a separate product.
Engaging Tools
ReadyTalk offers extensive support for a number of tools to improve engagement. One of the main options is to connect with meeting attendants via a variety of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. On top of this you can also send follow up emails to remind participants of an upcoming meeting or webinar.
Video and Audio Conferencing
As mentioned above, being able to connect to only 4 participants at a time via video may not be ideal but for the most part, this should be well sufficient. ReadyTalk offers toll-free calling in facility and their pricing tiers come packaged with a limited number of free minutes which you can utilize for dial-ins. Of course, if you require a higher duration, you can purchase this. The base package gives you 1,000 minutes to work with which is plenty. ReadyTalk's video and audio conferencing facility is top notch with crisp audio and video.
Mobile Support
ReadyTalk has separately developed fully featured iPad, iPhone and Android apps so that no one has an excuse for skipping a meeting! Attain full functionality as you would on your browser by connecting to ReadyTalk on your mobile when you are on the move.
Customer Support
ReadyTalk's customer support deserves a special mention because it is one of the selling points of the tool. Customer service is comprehensive with quick and adequate response. For more expensive packages such as the webinar, you will find that a ReadyTalk representative accompanies you the meeting to ensure smooth execution of the meeting. No other product offers a similar, personal service.
Interface
ReadyTalk may sometimes be considered a little complex in comparison to other similar services in terms of interface however once you get a feel of how the controls have been placed; you should be able to navigate through the software without much of a fuss.
International Customers
ReadyTalk may well be one of the best options if you have a wide reach across several countries because it has toll-free support for 75 countries which is perhaps the highest international support you would find. One area that ReadyTalk can improve is in terms of translation services and accessibility for foreign speaking users.
Webinar Features
ReadyTalk
provides some essential features for people looking to host webinars.
You can easily integrate presentation slides and PDF files to give your
attendants an actual feel of a seminar. Furthermore, you can share video
and other pre-recorded material. They also have an easy to use system
of registering participants though some might argue that the layout of
the forms can do with a little tweaking. Finally, they also provide some
useful tools to track your marketing campaign.
Final Thoughts
The
overwhelming majority of users of ReadyTalk are quite content of the
features and delivery of this software and this tool should certainly be
shortlisted if you are looking for a solid web conferencing tool.
