WhenToWork is a digital solution for scheduling employee work hours. Scheduling, in general, is a very tough task, even more so in larger companies with a number of employees. There are just too many factors that the HR will need to keep in mind to produce a schedule beneficial to all and compromising to none. With WhenToWork, companies of any size can easily and quickly set the schedule of all its employees and can give their employees the ability to modify their schedules with proper permissions. It has the ability to notify concerned people, work on a portable device like a smartphone, and can even be used to automatically determine employee schedule based on the data that is already available. These features, along with its low price, make it a very reliable cloud-based scheduling SaaS.

How can companies make better use of time using WhenToWork?

Using WhenToWork for scheduling is very quick and easy due to its simple interface. For this, the first step that must be taken is information gathering about the employee’s own preferences regarding work hours. This can be done from the WhenToWork app, where the employee can set their non-work hours and can send feedback related to the work hours set for them. This gives a lot of flexibility and satisfaction to the employee and allows the company to plan in case of non-availability during a certain time period. There is an AutoFill feature as well, which uses an algorithm to automatically assign empty blocks of hours to automatically create a schedule.

WhenToWork gives employees a lot of freedom regarding work hours. Even the AutoFill system fills work hours according to certain constraints set to it by the employees themselves, regarding what hours will they prefer, dislike or will not have a major problem with. This schedule will be sent to the employees and they will again have a chance to accept it or reject it. Employees can even decide to work at alternate shifts through the Tradeboard feature, in which the open work hours are shown and can be selected by the employees, with or without permission.
